Building More Than a Dome
When Craig Riotto founded the New England Sports Hub in Somersworth, NH, he wasn’t just building another indoor facility—he was delivering on a decades-old promise to the local sports community. “When I was playing youth sports here, winter was brutal,” he recalls. “We had nowhere to play or train for half the year. This town has been thirsty for something like this for 25 years”.
Today, the Hub is a game-changing complex with turf fields, TrackMan golf simulators, a full-service pub, and a vision to become the Northeast’s go-to destination for youth leagues, adult rec sports, and off-season training.
The Uniforms That Build Community
As NE Sports Hub took shape, so did the need for branded gear that matched its mission. Enter Blue Dolphin.
“We like to say Blue Dolphin is the TrackMan of screen printing,” Craig jokes. “They’re total nerds about quality. Their shop is insane, they turn around big orders fast, and their team just gets it”.
What began with a few co-branded cornhole league tees has grown into a strategy: use apparel to create unity. “All the best teams have sweet uniforms,” Craig says. “It’s about pride and belonging.”
Growing the Game—And the Pride
With new Hub leagues—like adult flag football and off-season baseball—Blue Dolphin is helping define what it means to play here. Teams that once showed up in white T-shirts and borrowed pinnies are now taking the field in custom gear that makes them feel like a unit.
And that gear is opening doors. “If a badass jersey gets more girls on the field, then that’s a big win,” Craig adds. “My wife always says it’s about the accessories”.
What’s Next: Events, Expansion, and More Apparel
As the Hub looks to host weddings, fundraisers, tournaments, and open-play nights for all ages, the role of branded apparel is only growing. From staff polos to player kits, spectator merch to sponsor swag, Blue Dolphinis right there helping the vision come to life.
